As you can see in the picture, the view is nice, but there is a big problem: the outside bath is not roofed.
Therefore, if it rains or snows, you will get wet (inside the onsen, though) and your head will be cold.
The men's and women's baths are switched every morning, so it is always possible to experience an infinity bath if you want to.
You can check on the TV in your room to see how crowded it is and whether you are on the ocean side or not. The baths are not large, so it is best to check in advance to avoid being crowded.
The hot spring lounge "Lights" is located on the 17th floor as a place to rest after descending the stairs from the hot spring baths on the top floor.
This lounge is used in conjunction with the "kagayaki" lounge, and alcohol and other beverages can be enjoyed.
The lounge is designed as a hot spring lounge, but it has the atmosphere of a full-fledged bar.
Although not shown in the photo, there is a coffee machine, and guests can drink coffee or latte for free.
There is not only counter seating but also table seating.
The photo was taken after "kagayaki" had closed, so there were no people there, but many people were relaxing.
Two seats at the back of the entrance offer a night view of Mt. Hakodate and the Mashu Maru through the window, and are recommended if available.
The Mashu Maru is illuminated until 10:00 p.m., but we were able to see it illuminated just before 10:00 p.m.
The next morning, I went to the lounge "Lights" after the bath, and it was possible to go out to the veranda-like area. It is on a high floor, so the beach breeze was very pleasant.

Tokyu Stay Hakodate Asaichi Tou no Yu offers breakfast in cooperation with restaurants in the surrounding Hakodate Asaichi, as there are no facilities that provide meals.
Considering its location next to the Hakodate Asaichi I thought it was a good idea to be able to coexist with the surrounding restaurants, which would be more satisfying for users than providing half-hearted food.
This includes famous restaurants such as Kikuyo Shokudo, which can be found by searching Hakodate Asaichi and recommendations. Therefore, I was satisfied with the seafood bowls only for breakfast.
Each restaurant has about three or four exclusive menus, which are listed in the booklet in the hotel room, but you can get a list of exclusive menus by going to each restaurant with your meal ticket and telling them.
I have taken pictures of the menus of some of the restaurants and have posted them here. The stores we visited will be described separately.

It makes for an enjoyable breakfast with many choices of restaurants and menus to choose from.
This can also solve the problem of not being able to eat a full meal of specialties when you add breakfast in a tourist area.
Tokyu Stay Hakodate Asaichi Tou no Yu has just opened, so there were some unfamiliar aspects to the hotel, but considering the price and facilities, I think it is a satisfactory hotel.
