Hokkaido Trip 6 - Night Parfait Specialty Restaurant Nanakamado (Sapporo)

Since I visited Sapporo, I visited Nanakamado, a restaurant specializing in night parfaits, for a shime parfait instead of shime ramen after the first restaurant.

The location is close to Susukino Subway Station, but since it is on the second floor of a multi-tenant building that houses snack bars, etc., we recommend that you go there while checking the address (2F Dai4 Fujii Bldg., Minami 4-jo Nishi 5-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo) on a map.

This is the second time I have visited there, having also visited in September 2019. Last time there was a line outside the restaurant, but this year I was able to enter the restaurant without standing in line.

When you are in line, you are supposed to wait in line and receive a numbered ticket from the iPad under the Nanakamado soft-serve ice cream sign.

I forgot to take a picture of the interior of the restaurant, but it is more spacious than it appears, with a counter and tatami room that can accommodate up to 29 people.

By coincidence, we were shown to the same counter location as a year ago.

It looked calm and relaxed, and seemed to be used for dates.

Each parfait is limited to a certain period of time because all of the ice cream and parts are handmade and seasonal fruits are used.

Also, the presentation of the parfaits is very elaborate, so it feels almost like an art form.

Sake sherbet and other ingredients are used to make a drinkable (?) parfait. It is a parfait with a certain drinkability (?). My wife, who visited with me, liked it very much.

(Parfait with a motif of a goldfish bowl)

Last year I ordered a parfait with a goldfish bowl motif, and this year I did the same.

The goldfish are around the middle of the parfait, but the sorbet and other ingredients that lead up to the goldfish are delicious (I think the cloud-like thing at the top is baked meringue).

The parfait is fun to look at, but it is also quite tasty to eat.

This was my second visit myself, and I was just as surprised and satisfied as I was the last time.

The restaurant accepts reservations, so if you have a large group of people or want to specify a specific time, I recommend making a reservation.

In Tokyo, there are affiliated night parfait restaurants in Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro, so if you are unable to visit Sapporo, why not try Shime Parfait?
