So far, I have been traveling abroad, but since it is difficult to go abroad with the new Corona, I will be posting a bit about my domestic trips.
I traveled to Hokkaido for about a week in August 2020.
I went to Furano, which I had only stopped by Tomita Farm once before and had mostly passed through unnoticed.
Since we were going to Furano, we stayed there for one night.
We considered Furano Prince Hotel and other hotels.
However, since we were going all the way to Furano, we wanted to stay in a more luxurious place, so we found Hotel & Condominium Ichihana.
Official link is here.
ホテル&コンドミニアム 一花 [HITOHANA] 【公式】| 北海道 富良野 北の峰
The concept of this hotel is to be a vacation home for guests visiting the winery.
The winery Domaine Raison is operated in Furano, and it is the latest trend in auberge.
The exterior of the hotel gives the impression of an ordinary hotel.
Stately entrance
The front desk is located immediately upon entering the entrance.
It has a more luxurious atmosphere than the exterior.
If you make a reservation at Ichihana, you can take a tour of the Domaine Raison winery, and just as we arrived, people who had finished the tour were returning.
On the opposite side of the reception area is a corner selling goods.
Wines from the company's own winery can be purchased here, as well as slightly more expensive snacks for in-room consumption.
Until 11 p.m., you can also taste wines from their winery.
On this day, it was Melimero Blanc, the first wine prepared at the Furano winery.
Because of Corona, check-in was not at the counter but in the lounge behind it.
In the lounge, there is a free coffee machine and a model of a goat that is kept next to a winery in Furano.
It is possible to take it to your room, so I got a cup of coffee when I finished my bath and watched the Tokachi mountain range from the balcony.
We stayed in a deluxe room.
A view of the living room. It has a luxurious atmosphere.
TV view from the sofa.
Bedroom/kitchen as seen from the living room
The bag at the back of the bedroom can be used to carry luggage to the large bathroom.
Bedrooms are larger than I expected.
There is a large bathroom on the first floor, but each room also has a bathroom and other facilities.
Good amenities are also used, giving the impression that the hotel is conscious of the wealthy Westerners who are inbound to the hotel.
As a condominium, the kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils and tableware.
Since we stayed only one night, we only used it to cut corn, but if you stay for several days, you may want to cook with ingredients from Furano.
Deluxe rooms are located on the third floor and have a veranda. This means that you can go out on the veranda and look at the Tokachi mountain range.
The volcanic fumes in the center of the room are from the volcanic fumes of Mt.
At night, the lights of Furano city will be a little obstructive, but it is possible to see a beautiful night view.
Although not inexpensive at about 60,000 yen for two people including meals, I was satisfied with the facilities.
I have the impression that the utmost care was taken to prevent coronas, for example, check-in was done in the lobby so as not to be crowded.
I will describe the meals in Part 2.
